This position is responsible for the administration of the monthly sales bookings and reporting tied to the valve teams. This role will also act as the backup for the pump and seal team’s administrator. This role will maintain adequate control procedures which follow the corporate policies around bookings maintenance and adjustments. The incumbent will need to partner with various operations sites to correct any errors in their monthly data as well as partner with the software vendors and suggest system enhancements. The position will also entail collaborating with the regional compensation administrators supporting them in the monthly validation of booking credits.
Specific accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensure that all sales credit adjustments are handled in a timely manner• Maintain adequate control procedures which follow the corporate policies around bookings maintenance and adjustments.
Setup and maintenance of new site codes, RUI codes, business unit codes and user ID codes in the bookings systems.
Ensure that the sales teams information (account assignments, branch codes, etc.) stay current.
Process all incoming data via ETL from all of the global operations sites at month end including corrections to bookings data (when required).
Partner with the various operations sites to correct any errors in their monthly data ensuring the process errors are corrected and not repeated in future periods.
Create custom reports and documents as defined by the sales leadership team.
Update and distribute all monthly reports as required from the business.
Continuous improvement around reporting such as partnering with the sales leadership team to ensure that the monthly reports meet their expectations.
Partner with the finance team each month to provide the month end reports and ensure that the bookings systems are reconciled with the financial system, BPC.
Partner with the software vendors and suggest system enhancements that are available that we should implement that will further enable the sales organization to access and manage data to drive business objectives.
Collaborate with the regional compensation administrators supporting them in the monthly validation of bookings credits.
Backup Xactly system administrator (rule setup, plan creation, etc.).
Educational / Experience Requirements:
B.S. Degree in business, finance or information technology
5+ years of experience with sales booking processes and reporting / dashboarding bookings data
Experience working in a multi-national environment
Strong presence, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with staff at all levels in the organization
The ability to work in a matrix environment within a complex global organization
Multi-lingual capability a plus
Strong excel skills
Strong system skills, requires the ability to pick up and learn new systems and processes very quickly as this position will be a system administrator for the Global Bookings System.
