Position Description:

Position Summary :

  • Management, implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems, in compliance with internal standards;

  • Promote Corporate Culture in Quality Department;

  • Support and guide internal Company processes in order to create an effective and efficient Quality Management System;

  • Support Company processes in drafting and updating Quality Management System procedures;

  • Keep the Site Leadership Team updated about Quality Management System Compliance status;

  • Identify and report Improvement Opportunities;

  • Support the management choices with evidence and objective data;

  • Collaborate in training needs Definition in Quality Management System Field;

  • Supervise the documentation management of Quality Management System, ensuring the updated versions availability and the communication in the case of updates;

  • Promote communication and involvement of stakeholders by promoting awareness and information of Quality Management Systems and opportunities for improvement and risk reduction;

  • Identify information in order to be updated on applicable standards and regulations;

  • Coordinate monitoring and measurement activities (inspections, audits, KPI's), implementing appropriate actions based on results and / or compliance status;

  • Collaborate in Data collection needed for the Management Review;

  • Collaborate in the suppliers selection, evaluation and monitoring process;

  • Coordinate activities in the QC and HR Department for the following topics:

  • analysis contractual requirements;

  • In-process and incoming controls;

  • Product Certification;

  • Customer Management or third party inspections;

  • QC activities Planning;

  • NDT execution.

  • Manage after-sales activities (After Sales);

  • Problems analysis highlighted by customers; consult managers to identify the causes of and propose corrective actions.

  • In collaboration with the After-Sales Supervisor, define the procedures for after sales servicing (factory or site) and for warranty interventions.

Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate QA/QC & After Sales teams;

  • Effectively communication to ensure participation of the parties

  • Win resistance to change;

  • Manage conflicts between parties;

  • Ensure an objective approach in problem management, basing analysis and actions on objective elements, resisting possible pressures from different processes.

Position Requirements:

Education: Technical Degree;

  • Previous Experience (at least 5 years) as QA or QC Manager in valve industries;

  • Experience (at least 5 years) in Quality Management Systems and related standards (ISO 9001 / API Q1);

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Full knowledge of QMS standard API Q1 & ISO 9001:2015 and product standard API 6D, 6A, 6DSS

  • Full knowledge of manufacturing processes

  • Good knowledge and skills in international standards and customer specification interpretation

  • Knowledge of valve manufacturing processes and project business

  • ISO9001 Auditor / Lead auditor certification (preferred)

  • ISO 9712 NDT certification (preferred)

  • Significant experience in suppliers evaluation and selection;

  • Significant experience in audit techniques.
