Position Description:

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, disbursements and processing.

Specific responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

· Process three way match P.O. invoices

· Process accounts payable invoices, including scanning, coding and routing invoices for proper approval

· Ensure controls policies, processes and procedures are followed in accordance with Flowserve policy (SOx compliance)

· Participate in accounts payable and general ledger shared service projects as directed

· Sort and distribute incoming mail

· Assist internal/external customers in requests for information and high level- issues resolution through all communication channels

· Assist in month end closing

Position Requirements:

· Minimum two (2) years accounts payable experience processing invoices in paper-less environment

· Minimum Associate’s degree or equivalent education is preferred, not required

· Excellent PC skills including Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook

· Previous experience working with Baan Accounts Payable or other ERP systems required

· Ability to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines in fast paced environment

· Ability to handle exceptions with little or no supervision

· Ability to work overtime as required, especially during month end close


· Excellent communication and writing skills
